Rustic style is very on trend right now. If you’re into this style, you’re in luck! There are so many props out there that you can use for your big day. Burlap & mason jars are a main staple in every craft store and with Chalk Paint®, it’s so easy to transform mason jars to reflect your wedding colors.

So if you check out this wedding with the chippy window as the seating chart, you’ll see this was a nice mix of Rustic & Traditional. Like I mentioned last week, blending 2 styles (or more!) will really help you to define your style. Most of us don’t like just 1 thing, that’s where our problem lies…we have a hard time choosing. That’s a good thing when it comes to defining your style! When you can blend more than 1 style, it allows you to really make it personalized.

Here’s another shot of the Traditional Rustic wedding. They did this so beautifully. And check out those boxes & the typewriter. You will definitely want to scour your local vintage shop for goodies like that. Those places (like Suite Pieces!!) are just overflowing with this stuff!

Old windows & doors are also a great prop to use for the rustic wedding style. I started to count how many we have and I stopped at 50. Come by and check them out! You could use them placed at an entrance or as a photo op. The possibilities are endless.

Here are a few things we found around the shop that you could definitely use for a little entry decor.

Old chairs & shutters also make great decor. These are easy to pick up at your local shop as well.

And as a special treat…we have a Pinterest LIVE! Event this month just for you soon to be brides!! We have some seats left in our Huntington shop, but our Massapequa event is sold out! You can also book a private event or a private time to do this project on your own or with some girlfriends. Give us a call in Huntington for more details. 631-560-9759

This window is perfect to spruce up the entry at your big day. Keep in mind, we do these types of signs custom as well so if you need something in particular, just ask! We can whip it up for you ; )

So there it is! Rustic wedding style! What do you think? Are you a rustic bride? Let us know what style you’re leaning towards. We’d love to hear from you ; )
