Wow! What a fantastic evening we had last night with our November Pinterest LIVE! attendees! Thank you so much for joining us ladies!!

For our November event, we created a Thankful tree. I can’t take credit for the idea…of course I saw something similar on Pinterest ; ) I have so much to be thankful for this season…our business has been booming, and it’s thanks to all of our fabulous customers and my very dedicated, loyal, hardworking team. Not to mention, my wonderful family & friends who have supported me on this crazy journey. My husband should get a medal this year…he has a gourmet dinner on the table most nights when I get home and he keeps me laughing and grounded. He’s also becoming part of the team more & more…he was a marketing major so I lean on him for lots of advice & brainstorming. This journey has brought us so much closer together. Thank you Johnny P…you stole my heart and I don’t ever want it back…mwah!

We also donated $10 from every sign up last night to Island Harvest. I’ve always loved giving back, and I thought this would be a fun way to do so ; ) We have another event planned for tomorrow night (Friday, November 21st from 5-9pm) where we’re also donating even more funds to Island Harvest. Check out the details HERE for Huntington and HERE for Brooklyn. We hope to see you! And if you can’t make the donation, please still stop by and bring a charitable food item, we’ll donate that to Island Harvest too!

Every month we come up with a craft to recreate with about 25 ladies, wine & chocolate. It’s everything you need for a fabulous ladies night out ; ) But we are always surprised at how different everyone’s project turns out! We always have an artist, someone who custom mixes color or thinks outside the box. Take a peek at some pictures from last night.

November Pinterest LIVE! Thankful Tree

We worked in stations last night, with the first group painting their mason jars & thankful tags. The 2nd group worked on stenciling their burlap placemats, which they fringed to their liking (one of our fun tips from last night!). We filled the jars with sand and then got to play with branch placement. Some of our guests dry brushed their branches in white, so fun! Last, everyone visited the ribbon & bling station (always my favorite, the icing in the cake ; ) where everyone got to choose from a bundle of ribbon & bling to adorn their jars.

Of course the ladies also got lots of shopping in. Our store is filled with 10,000 square feet of vintage goodness so there’s something for everyone! From vintage house wares, recreated vintage jewelry, sports & political memorabilia, up cycled goods & jewelry, custom upholstery, draperies & children’s clothing, vintage glassware, and so much more! If you haven’t stopped by to check us out, you certainly should! Our inventory literally changes on a daily basis so stop by often too! In case you’re wondering, we’re open 7 days a week from 11-5.

So after all the fun last night, we announced our craft for December…drum roll pleeeease!!!!

December Pinterest LIVE! Burlap Monogram Wreath

For December, we’re making Monogram Burlap Wreaths!!! So exciting! If you’re interested in signing up, please do so as soon as possible! After our guests heard the announcement last night, we are already 1/3 of the way full ; ) This is a good one, so I expect we’ll be selling out pretty fast! We have a couple options on this event. You can choose the one letter monogram, or you can upgrade to a 3-letter monogram for an extra $12. When placing your order, you’ll want to put your initials in the notes section. If you choose the 3-letter monogram, please put your initials in order, so for example, My hubs name is Johnny, and our last name is Peppard. Our monogram would read aPj. Make sense?

If you choose to go with just 1 letter, please leave that in the comments section when you’re checking out. Here’s the one catch…if you want any monogram letter for your wreath, you will need to sign up by November 30th so we can order the letters in time for the event. If you sign up after the 30th we will be substituting the letter with a winter themed item, like a snowflake.

And the great thing about these wreaths is that you can switch out your bows and/or picks all throughout the year so you’ll always have a festive wreath hanging on your door! And if wreaths aren’t your thing, but you don’t want to miss out on a fabulous night out, of course you can make one as a gift…I know I’d love this as a gift!!

Here are a couple of examples of what you can do with your wreath. We pulled these from Pinterest and gave credit to the Etsy shops who created them ; )

Here is the 3-letter monogram which is a $12 upgrade for this event.

We will provide the wreath form, burlap (and a ton at that…these wreaths take about 15-20 yards of burlap!), monogram letter and ribbon for a bow. We encourage you to bring other embellishments to adorn your wreath with if you wish. Some examples are, ornaments, holiday pics, flowers, etc.

So let’s go over what we’ll be teaching at this event:

-How to create the burlap wreath

-How to make a bow

-How to paint a simple one color look with Chalk Paint®

-Lastly, we’ll show you how to make a rosette with simple ribbon. Be sure to bring some of your own if you’d like to make several! (Like the ones shown in the 3-letter monogram picture)

And let’s not forget, at Suite Pieces Pinterest LIVE! events, we also include, wine, chocolates from Kilwins, desserts from my wonderful mother-in-law (who loves Tracey’s famous crumb cake??!) and of course a night of fun & fancy crafting! No cleaning up or collecting the supplies, we do all that for you ; )

So don’t miss out! Sign up today! We can’t wait to teach you ; )
