METALLIC DEMILUNE BUFFET

We are head over heels about the new colors of Modern Masters Metallic Paint that we now have in stock!! For this demilune cabinet, we used Smoke Metallic Paint to add some extra shine to this beauty. We started with a base coat of French Linen Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan, then applied the metallic paint to the panels. The chalk paint acts as a primer to help the metallic paint adhere. To finish and protect the piece we used clear and black wax everywhere EXCEPT the metallic panels, where we used General Finishes High Performance Top Coat in Satin finish instead.
