We'd like to let you in on a few of our favorite colors & techniques in Matte Finish Paint.

First up is this fresh green color we used to carry, we loved it so much we recreated it with a custom mixture of Jolie's Matte Finish Paint in 2 parts French Quarter Green to 1 part Emperor's Yellow - mix & Voilà, there you have it!

We just love the way this fresh green color looks when painted on a dark piece… check out the way the detailing pops on this carved leg with just a little distressing. My personal favorite is creating a rustic finish by adding Brown wax

Next up, we loved the two-tone neutral color combination on this dresser so much so that we figured out a way to duplicate it's look with Jolie's matte finish paint. reminds us of coastal cottages & beach vacations. Here's what you can do to get this look, start with Jolie's Linen for the frame and Palace White for the drawers, top & sides. To achieve a rustic look you can create a release effect by adding vaseline to various areas on the drawers, sides & top prior to painting which will deter the paint from adhering on these areas. Your last step is to finish your piece with Clear Wax.

For an extra color pop - you can paint the interiors a contrast color - a color similar to the one in the picture is Jolie's Verdigris.
